Greetings and welcome to the LightStyle Blog!
Repeatedly, we encountered projects which deviated entirely from budget, time and specified design vision. Therein lay the opportunity for LightStyle to recreate the standard – forging a client-centric model rooted in value added servicing and support.
It is my pleasure to unveil our new LightStyle website and blog through which we hope to communicate “who we are” and “what we do” at LightStyle. I would like to steal a moment to tell you how LightStyle came into being and the “LightStyle difference” we pride ourselves upon.
I stumbled upon my niche in life while remodeling my home. It was then that I discovered how a space is uniquely defined by the lighting elements within. The art and science of an aptly illuminated space bears vast impact upon the functionality, effectiveness and performance attainable. It serves to support the overall design and function of an environment; directly influencing and impacting color, texture, ambience, sense of space and well being.
Upon being introduced to the lighting industry it became apparent that there lay little value derivable for the end-user or design team in working within the traditionally undisputed system of procurement. Repeatedly, I encountered projects which deviated entirely from budget, time and specified design vision criterion. Therein lay the opportunity for LightStyle to recreate the standard – forging a client-centric model rooted in value added servicing and support.
We base our success in providing more of the client needs – direct buying discounts, elimination of middlemen mark-up’s, transparency in our costing structures, in-house installation and programming services, technical ability of all major construction software, design assistance, specification support, on-the-job mock-up’, sample product demonstrations etc. By serving our clients with consulting, pre-budgeting and value engineering services our lighting packages better meet aesthetic and budgetary considerations.
The rapid growth experienced by LightStyle can be attributed to the enduring relationships forged with our industry partners; from manufacturers to architects, it is our unwavering commitment to service excellence that has distinguished us. These relationships are founded upon honesty, transparency and value. The standard industry procurement model adds up to several layers of mark-up greater than the manufactures book price. Lot pricing packages to conceal hidden profit margins, specification substitution and bias, overages etc are all commonplace tactics employed to inflate the client’s bottom-line. At LightStyle there is no room for conduct which falls short of total transparency.
